Nowadays, the training of young actors should be as varied as possible in order to be able to provide optimal preparation for the young actors’ first years as a professional. This is exactly where the practice-oriented projects of Carola von Seherr-Thoss, who has been a lecturer in the drama course at the August Everding Theater Academy for over 20 years, come in. One of these projects is the smartphone e-casting workshop, in collaboration with Martin Douglas, who founded the Castconnectpro platform .
Here, the budding actors receive practical know-how on how to quickly shoot an application video with the desired scene at the request of a caster in order to apply for a film or television role.
